From Thomas Lake, we took a brief excursion south to Kiana Lake, ate gorp, then returned to pick up packs. We backtracked over the beaver dam portage, downstream this time, and had a bit of rain.  By the time we reached a campsite in Ima Lake, the rain broke long enough to make supper before returning intensely, but we were ready to dive in tents.
