Tall ships
We clambered all over these old-time sailing vessels which had arrived as part of the Sydney-Auckland Tall Ships Regatta.
From Devonport we watched them leave on Monday (Labor Day in NZ) in beautiful weather, passing right in front of Rangitoto. It is said that 1 out of every 4 people in Auckland have access to some sort of boat, and large numbers of them came out to buzz the bigger boats.
