We registered her, bought school supplies, borrowed and bought uniforms, and Elena had her first day at school today at ‘Remuera Intermediate’–a school with only a year 7 and year 8.  E is in a year 8 classroom with 34 students. She started off with fitness this morning. (There *is* a rugby club for girls, but no Peter, today was just running.) Students take their shoes off at the door and go around inside the school in stocking feet.
