Day 13 – We bid farewell to Mike, Christine and Lyra, who returned to Vancouver. We drove another half hour to Banff National Park and found a campsite at Lake Louise. The whole tenting area of the campsite is surrounded with a 10000 Volt anti-bear fence.

We still had time for a short hike, so we headed to Lake Louise, and hiked (8 km, 390 m) up to Lake Agnes, and the teahouse which overlooks Lake Agnes and the ‘Beehive’ (the big rock behind Benjamin).  Tea and scones were enjoyed.
